Occupational Safety and Care (in Polish: BHP)

Dear Doctoral Students,

According to the Regulation of  Minister of Science and Higher Education of 30.10.2018  (Dz.U. z 2018 r. poz. 2090), we would like to inform you that Workplace health and safety course is obligatory for all newly admitted Doctoral Students.
Therefore, you have been enrolled in the Workplace health and safety group by the secretary’s office and the classes should be visible in your USOS account after logging in (after the transfer of data).

In the academic year 2023/2024, general university training will be available to doctoral students on the following dates:

1) Winter semester:

• 30.10.2023 – 11.02.2024
• 23.02.2024 – 03.03.2024

2) summer semester:

• 18.03.2024 – 07.07.2024
• 02.09.2024 – 15.09.2024

No additional dates expected, beyond the above-mentioned ones.

The training is conducted in the form of classes, using the methods and techniques of distance education via the platform of  Centrum Kompetencji Cyfrowych Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego: https://kampus.come.uw.edu.pl

We would like to inform you that due to the letter from the Rector of the UW, Professor Alojzy Z. Nowak, regarding the implementation of the occupational safety and care course, doctoral students who have not previously implemented the occupational safety and care course at the UW are obliged to do so. Doctoral students are automatically enrolled in the course by the MSD secretariat, and the course itself, as well as the passing grade, takes place via the platform kampus.come.uw.edu.pl.

You log onto the platform using your USOSweb login. Course materials are provided there, as well as a final test that passes the entire course. Occupational Safety and Care course materials are available on the platform for an unlimited period of time.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a credit in USOS. The Occupational Safety and Care course as a subject in USOS should remain unlinked – neither under the programme nor under the stage.

Health and safety training in the academic year 2022/2023 will be available for doctoral students on the following dates:

• in the winter semester: from 7 December 2022 to 5 March 2023.
• in the summer semester: from 20 March 2023 to 10 September 2023.

We would like to inform you that in compliance with  the letter written by the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Quality of Education, Professor Sławomir Żółtek, regarding the implementation of the course all doctoral students of Doctoral Schools are obliged to implement it. Doctoral students are automatically enrolled in the course by the IDS’s secretary’s office . The course, which you are obliged to take and pass, takes place via the platform kampus.come.uw.edu.pl.

You log onto the platform using your USOSweb login. Course materials, as well as a final test that passes the entire course,  are provided there. Occupational Safety and Care course materials are available on the platform for an unlimited period of time.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a credit in USOS. The Occupational Safety and Care course as a subject in USOS should remain unlinked – neither under the programme nor under the stage.

The pass test in the academic year 2021/2022 will be available to you on the following dates:

• in the winter semester: 2 November 2021 – 13 February 2022, 25 February 2022 – 6 March 2022
• in the summer semester: 21 March 2022 – 10 July 2022, 29 August 2022 – 11 September 2022.

No additional deadlines are planned. If you do not pass the course, you may retake it. Subsequent attempts to pass the course are free of charge, but once the above-mentioned deadlines have passed, the opportunity to get credit for the course passes to the following academic year.
