Programme for doctoral students admitted BEFORE 01.10.2022
MSD programme
MSD doctoral students follow the study path in accordance with their chosen lead field and take part in registrations offered by the other doctoral schools (if there is no registration, contact the secretariat of the respective school to request to be assigned to the classes).
The exception is the first semester of studies, in which the MSD organises registration and classes. These are:
- Didactics of Higher Education of 30 hours for all our doctoral students
- Ethics in the amount of 8 hours in the mode – 4 hours of lectures and two 2-hour workshops to be chosen at the time of registration
- Copyright – 4 hours of obligatory lecture and 4 hours for electives (enrolling for a voluntary lecture is equivalent to the obligation to pass it)
The subjects Methodological Workshop (individual as part of the internship) and Scientific Development – individual classes with a supervisor (scientist’s workshop) are completed on the basis of annual reports.
In addition, MSD does not organise Interdisciplinary Conferences (KI) and doctoral students at our school are not obliged to attend KI. However, if a doctoral student wishes to participate in a conference organised by another Doctoral School, they should report this initiative to the Directors of both schools.
At the same time, they are obliged to attend the integration seminar organised specifically for MSD doctoral students at the rate of 8 meetings per year of 3 didactic hours each. Each doctoral student is obliged to attend 5 seminars per year and to give at least two presentations during the whole training process (30 min. presentation + discussion).
Internships
Doctoral students carry out internships according to their main pathway, but with a minimum of 30 hours (in accordance with the Law on Higher Education and Science of July 20th, 2018, Article 201. 5. The educational program may provide for professional practice in the form of teaching or participating in the teaching of classes, not exceeding 60 teaching hours per year)..
Seminars and specialization classes
A doctoral student should take these classes at the hourly rate established for a given School, but does not have to take advantage of its offer; however, the student may take advantage of the offer of other Schools depending on his/her needs and scientific interests.
